MultiGage Reader App

Using our WiMER and BlueDial to wirelessly collect readings make displacement measurement simple. Yet it can be even more effective with the help of MultiGage Reader app.

MultiGage Reader app is able to connect up to 14 WiMER or BlueDial and receive readings from all of them at the same time. Each device will be assigned with an individual panel to display measurement reading, max, min, TIR and average value. User can disconnect a device or add more devices without interference in other devices and measurement undergoing. It is an ideal tool for simultaneous measurement at different locations along a long pipe or a shaft.

MultiGage Reader provides 2 options for data recording: continuous recording at up to 10 samples/sec or one by one capturing with button tapping. Recorded data can be plotted in a user interaction enabled graph (zoom, pan, screenshot) or exported in CSV file via email for further assessment.

To better visualize sensor readings, we embed a probe meter for both individual device (activated by tapping the sensor reading) and a group of devices (activated through more button). Two different options of probe meters with different numbers of ticks are available for different resolution requirements. Additional, users can freely set the range of the probe meter to further adjust display resolution. An analog needle rotates while sensor reading changes. Two limit handles indicate max and min values the device has reached.

For those who don’t have our hardware devices, the simulation mode will demonstrate major functioinalities of this App.

November 10, 2011

Great News!
The first version of the Wireless Analog Measurement Device for smartphones and tablets is out!

This device can wirelessly  measure voltages, or any signals from different sensors (temperature, vibration features, oil properties), transmit to any smartphone or tablet device (iPhone/iPad/Android).

It can be used as a multimeter, temperature sensor or any wireless measurement device for signal measurement and remote monitoring of machinery.

Features:

  • Wi-Fi signal transmission to iPhone/iPad
  • Easy-to-use BNC probe connector
  • Built-in rechargeable battery
  • USB charging connection with cable
  • No need to connect to the device (Yes, it IS wireless!)
  • Extra modules for vibration and temperature measurements
  • Available iPhone/iPad Apps to monitor and save the signal
  • Cloud-based data base to send the measurements to the Dropbox and to the computer
  • Measurement capability of up to 8 channels

The device is still under the development and test phases by Motionics and GTI Spindle Technology and will be out in our product list soon!
